Found this place on Google and it was a good find. We were seated quickly add our waitress came to take our order. I had the papas rancheras with red chile. The chile had just the right heat and was flavorful. My wife had the carne adovada with two eggs. The carne adovada was tender and hot. The sopapillas are very soft and flavorful. Would definitely recommend this place!

Please don't let the location and the atmosphere stop you from missing out on this gem of a restaurant. The food is superb. The service even better. I'm so glad I ate there. I had a shredded beef stuffed sopapilla. The beef was perfectly seasoned. Both the red and green chili were delicious. Too bad I'm a wimp and couldn't handle the heat. My husband had a combination burrito. He said it was also delicious. If I lived near here I'd be a regular guest.

This restaurant may be one of Santa Fe’s best!! Extremely clean, for starters. The service is cheerful and really fast!! I’ve been eating rellenos across New Mexico on this trip, and tonight was a continuation of my quest for the best. El Comal has to be in the running. Pablanos!! The chilis had great flavor. The house salsa was also top notch. Les had pancakes, eggs and bacon. The bacon was perfect!! If I lived here, this restaurant would be on my frequent diners rotation.

This was a great restaurant with lots of flavor packed in a little place! We had the Carne Adovado Sopapilla and Huevos Rancheros. A basket with a freshly-made tortilla and sopapilla also accompanied our meal. Those were the best tortillas and sopapillas I've had in years! There's also honey on the tables so you can have a sweet Sopapilla at the end of your meal!

Don't let the look of the outside deter you! The food is delicious! The outside name sign isn't very visible, so look for the sign that says "cafe". I had the taco salad with chicken. Everything was fresh and crisp. He had the Navajo Taco with beef and green. Everything was delicious. Service was very good and everyone was nice. If we lived here, we would be here regularly.

I had the Santa Fe omelette smothered in Red/Green chili, it came with beans, fried potatoes, guacamole, and garnish shredded lettuce and toamato The portions were perfect, and the quality and flavor of the food was great. All of our food was delicious. The staff was attentive and very friendly. In the photos is a picture with the Santa Fe omelette, Huevos Rancheros, and a breakfast burrito with red/green chili. I would recommend coming here if you're in the area or even just passing through.

Stopped in for dinner tonight, had an amazing experience. Chips and salsa almost immediately upon sitting down, drinks quickly after. Our food maybe took 10 minutes. Tonight we had the vegetable enchiladas with green chili and the vegetable burrito with red sauce. Everything was so fresh and clearly made homemade. We both finished our plates very quickly. Normally after eating a similar amount of food at a Mexican restaurant I feel bloated or discomfort- we felt no discomfort or bloating. It was an amazing meal and we can’t wait to return. Next time I would love to try the stuffed sopapillas, the free sopapillas served with our meal were amazing. I think we spent $32 which isn’t bad at all especially for such good food.
